Shuffle Wallet 2.0 is a distinctive, premium‑leaning wallet that stands out through engineering rather than aesthetics alone. The forged carbon finish gives it a refined presence, and the fan mechanism remains one of the most visually engaging approaches to card access. The integrated tracker adds meaningful utility, and the modular design allows for personalisation. However, the practical compromises, such as awkward card selection, public exposure, thickness and inconsistent MagGrip, keep it from achieving the effortless convenience that defines the best minimalist wallets. It is a wallet that impresses through innovation and craftsmanship, but one that feels more suited to enthusiasts than users seeking seamless everyday practicality.
The Shure MV88+ Video Kit stands out as one of the most capable mobile recording solutions available today. It delivers polished, professional audio, offers flexible stereo capture, and integrates seamlessly with Shure’s excellent MOTIV software. The accessory ecosystem is thoughtfully assembled, and the mounting compatibility ensures creators can adapt the kit to any filming environment. The PIXI tripod’s height is a limitation for seated video work, but the universal quarter‑inch thread and shoe‑mount support make it easy to raise the setup with taller tripods, boom arms or cages. What defines the MV88+ is the consistency of its performance and the reliability of its workflow. For creators who want dependable, high‑quality audio without carrying studio gear, it remains one of the strongest and most versatile options in its class.
Yes, the collection-specific stuff like the manuals could be tightened up, but what an excellent example of gaming that is collected here. Each Metal Gear game being good helps a lot, and combining them into one trim collection without a ton of frills was a good idea. If you’re a fan of shooting, sneaking and even occasionally laughing a little, this collection is a must buy.
The Cuktech 30 Charging Station is one of the most capable GaN chargers available today. It delivers 300W of stable power, supports a wide range of protocols, and replaces multiple laptop bricks with one refined station. The IPS display adds a level of clarity rarely seen in consumer chargers, and the included accessories make the station ready for demanding workflows. It is a charger that feels engineered for creators, professionals, and gamers who rely on several devices throughout the day. The weight limits its travel convenience, although the versatility and performance make it a standout choice for anyone seeking a reliable, high‑wattage power hub.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero stands out from the crowd of JRPGs by focusing on a small area and making the city safer one parking ticket at a time. Its combat system is a major strength, but technical issues like textures flickering out of existence during gameplay and cutscenes, mixed with a poor difficulty curve, make this otherwise beautiful remake hard to recommend wholeheartedly in its current state on Switch 2.
Beast of Reincarnation might be Game Freak's first AAA game, but it still feels like an AA game in the best way possible. The narrative and its execution won't deliver on its full potential, but the exploration and action are top-notch. The final stretch is where everything comes together and shines its brightest, leaving a powerful lasting impression for those who stick with it.
Romeo Is a Dead Man is every bit as fascinating behind the scenes as it is wonderfully bizarre to play. Suda51's insight offers a fascinating glimpse into Grasshopper Manufacture's creative process, while also leaving plenty to ponder about what could come next. A huge thank you to Suda51 for taking the time to speak with Cubed3 and share more about the game's development process. Romeo Is a Dead Man is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
A superb little indie that understands that racing is supposed to be fun, Super Woden: Rally Edge combines accessible handling, excellent progression, varied stages, and just enough competitive obsession for racing fans to keep coming back. Not particularly pretty or chock-full of content, but it’s enjoyable and reasonably priced, and thus easy to recommend.
Most Western RPGs have been overshadowed this year by an incredible run of JRPGs, both those already released and several more looming on the horizon in the coming months. Against that backdrop, The Blood of Dawnwalker might genuinely be one of the best games 2026 has to offer. It has it all and then some, constantly surprising with consummate professionalism and polish.
Fans of the Alien series are often forced to deal with subpar experiences, and this comes in as one of them. Not withstanding various design decisions brought on by the new team, the quality is simply lacking on many aspects. Combat quickly becomes dry, and at how high of a price this game is, it is not recommended, even to fans of the series.
Playing Orbitals is like stepping into a classic anime, packed full of the soft tones and expressiveness of the era. With strong animation credentials and traditional processes behind the concept, there's a genuine heart and authenticity to this world. Clever co-operative play, fun set pieces and a curious mystery at the heart of the story tie this sci-fi tale together well. Slightly rushed and occasionally fiddly at times, but certainly worth blasting through to discover the fate of these new protagonists. Grab a friend, pop the TV on and live out those Saturday morning shows in style together.
Monsters beware, Musashi is here! One of the best hack and slash titles to come out in some time, Onimusha: Way of the Sword is deliriously fun. When it’s all said and done, Kyoto might be under the scourge of the devilish Genma, but it’s an absolute blast getting lost in it.
Wild Arms 3 is where the franchise found itself and leaned hardest into its Wild West flavour. It's the most polished and well-designed entry, presenting a challenge where previous entries were inconsistent. The cast is unbelievably endearing, and Filgaia has never been more intriguing. The cel-shaded, sketchy graphics aged beautifully and set it apart from other JRPGs of its time. While the PlayStation 2’s JRPG lineup is often remembered for Final Fantasy X and its sequels, which pushed the genre forward, Wild Arms 3 stands out as a top-tier traditional JRPG while boasting Old West appeal.
Ico was too ahead of its time for gamers in the 2000s, who didn't understand it yet. Anyone who played it recognised its uniqueness; despite many imitations, nothing else truly compares. Yeah, the combat is limp and overstays its welcome in most instances, and the game is way too short, but there's no denying that Ico captures a specific mood and feeling that's hard to put into words. It sits somewhere between ethereal solitude and bittersweet melancholic awe. Sometimes a powerful and unique feeling can carry a game in spite of its flaws, and that's worth more than anything.
In all likelihood, Activision will see high sales for this game from brand awareness alone. Yet GoldenEye 007 could have gotten away without using that namesake as, against all perceptions upon initial reveal, this re-imaging is strong enough to stand on its own and, aside from a few online limitations and control niggles, it is easily one of Wii's best shooters.
Words can hardly capture the wonders within Elden Ring. Apart from a few cheap boss battles, this is one of the best action RPGs ever made. Tarnished Edition is as complete as it gets and contains roughly three games' worth of content. Why can't all games be crafted with this much vision and boldness? The lunacy of it looking and running as well as it does on Nintendo Switch 2 makes this an absolute must-have for the console.
Dragon Loop isn't quite top tier, but it's pretty solidly in the next level down. Once it becomes clear that there actually is no stress to the time mechanic, it is easier to settle in and explore. Some confusion occasionally rears its head regarding progression later on, with some unclear, busy boss design choices from time to time. Still, it's fun to explore and become immersed in its charming world. A solid first effort from developer Shain Squad.
When you jump into the water in Central Park as Hulk you are (somewhat randomly) thrown back out of it to the exact same place at the start of the water every single time. Surely Hulk can swim...or at least thrash about a bit. This is why this game is rubbish. It takes the sandbox idea and it ruins it with terrible execution. The graphics are horrific, the sound is almost as bad and the whole title is just shoddy and lacking in any intelligence and care. Quite obviously rushed through development in order to come onto the market at the same time as the film, this is sure to be another movie-to-game bargain bin dweller in a few weeks.
Iron Man is your classic film tie-in; it reeks of under-development and simply isn't worth your time or money. The gameplay isn't nearly fun enough to get you hooked, the graphics are unimpressive, the levels are monotonous and combat is repetitive. Plus, even if you do somehow manage to enjoy the game, it will only last you for a few hours even on the harder difficult settings. We recommend you steer clear.
For those of you hoping Superman Returns could break the familiar cycle of rubbish Superman game after rubbish Superman game, you will be disappointed to hear that this is not the case. Everything that could have been enjoyable about this title is stuffed into the cracks between massive chasms of unintuitive controls, blocky graphics and uninspiring just about everything else. Superman fan or not you would do best to avoid this like some terrible plague.
The menu connects and inspires itself to six different XBOX properties. First off, Black Pepper & Garlic McNuggets, themed after the Moa bird from the world of Halo, a subtle nod to the series indeed.
There is little to recommend about Rambo: The Video Game overall. It does, very occasionally, produce a burst of the most simple, primal enjoyment that anyone can find in shooting digital Vietcong in the face, but every other aspect renders those moments limp. Come expecting the most unsatisfying game likely to release in 2014, leave very happy.
God of War isn’t a timeless classic, it isn’t the golden standard, and it isn’t even amongst the best in its own franchise. Is it bad? No. Is it good? Yes. Sort of. Occasionally… Well, it’s actually pretty darn enjoyable, but only when it doesn’t try to sabotage itself through its repetitive combat and puddle-deep mechanics, its aggravating platforming and tedious “puzzles”, and finally its highly problematic pacing.
Even though the genre's been touched up and improved in more ways than one since its release, Devil May Cry still manages to impress 15 years later. The combat persists as an adrenaline-pumping marathon of reflex-based attacking and dodging, and the ranking system continues to encourage masterful gameplay. In a lot of ways, it's Devil May Cry's simplicity that makes it stand out amongst more modern hack and slashes. There's a big focus on flashy spectacle, but the actual meat of it all is rooted in an impressively tight scope that rarely strays off the path. It's still fun, it's still challenging, it's still Devil May Cry.
Conan is just one more hack ‘n’ slash action title of the late PlayStation 2/early PlayStation 3 era that tries to offer the same thrills of a Devil May Cry or God of War instalment. That’s all right. Nihilistic Software’s creation is a simple and somewhat flawed title, but it doesn’t try to bite more than it can chew. Sometimes you just need something that’s honest in what it has to offer, which in this case is a couple of hours of fun in some cool looking locations and nothing more. There are better picks than Conan, yet it remains a good recommendation to most retro aficionados.
No gaming system has ever enjoyed such support from software houses, so the number of released (licensed) titles is extremely large, certainly exceeding 800, and according to some sources even 1000.
Playing this can make you appreciate the very first Resident Evil, despite its numerous flaws. Parasite Eve starts as a nice, survival-horror-meets-JRPGs kind of deal, but soon ends up as a sleep-inducing, and linear trek towards the end of a story that won't really ignite any interest.
The true test of a game's quality is determined by how well it has aged. More often than not, the first playthrough will be looked upon favourably, simply because the player doesn't know what to expect. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night makes for an incredible first impression, that much is certain. Over time, however, its weaknesses have become apparent. Alucard's solo adventure suffers from mediocre level design and uneven boss fights. Still, in terms of ambition, it remains unsurpassed. Though tarnished, this gem retains its brilliance because it offers so much freedom to anyone who plays it.
Wild Arms 2 is a dramatic improvement over its predecessor. It's got a richer, deeper narrative with more complex characters, and it aims high with its philosophical themes of duality. The gameplay has expanded thanks to its bigger cast of characters, and the puzzles are fun throughout. The music will grab players and easily keep anyone engaged in the adventure, even if it isn't that challenging. It may not reach the lofty ambitions of Xenogears, and it's got a spotty translation, but Wild Arms 2 still manages to be one of the better (and more affordable) JPRGs on the original PlayStation. It comes very close to reaching an all-time classic status, but sits neatly as a cult classic comfort JRPG.
Rhythm Paradise Groove carries a kind of creative electricity that is hard to fake. Every mode, every song and every odd little scenario feels touched by a team that genuinely enjoys the craft of rhythm, and that enthusiasm seeps through the screen. It is not flawless, yet its spirit is so strong and its execution so assured that the imperfections never manage to dull its glow. This is the sort of game that quietly raises the bar for what a rhythm title can be, not through spectacle, but through an unshakeable commitment to making every beat matter.
One Piece Odyssey is a decent RPG with a beautiful world, enjoyable combat, great music, and surprisingly deep customisation. Sadly, its overly linear exploration and some tedious design choices keep it from reaching its full potential.
A title like Brigandine Abyss is a design nightmare. It takes two genres with a massive mental overhead cost and tries to make them both work in the same game. The result is a game that may not appeal to fans of either genre, but will be a must-buy for fans of both. For those who wanted Fire Emblem with more strategic freedom, this is the game, and for those who love Dynasty Warriors Empires but want more engaging combat, this is the ticket. Brigandine Abyss knows its niche extremely well.
There are far better pinball video games out there, with more content, more challenges, more bells and whistles. For a humble NES title from distant 1984, however, Pinball turns out to be quite the entertaining blast from the past. For retro fans only? Probably, but do check it out if you ever come upon this ancient piece of history.
The way Chapter 5 plays out, it feels like all the cool stuff from Chapter 4 either didn’t happen or was retconned at the last minute. Understandably, Toby Fox wanted a chapter that was a "calm before the storm" that depicts the final days of innocence, but this was not the way. A lot of scenes are unearned, and the writing is not up to his typical level of quality. Thankfully, the gameplay is amusing, and the way old mechanics are remixed and recontextualised breathes some life into this otherwise uneventful day at the festival.
Yet Another Zombie Survivors is a great game because it understands the pleasures of simplicity. There’s no need for grand ambitions, sprawling worlds, or a dozen systems fighting for the player’s attention. Instead, here’s a bunch of zombie-apocalypse hero archetypes, an absurd number of zombies, some increasingly ridiculous weapons, and a handful of upgrades. Done. And everybody’s happy. This survivor-like knows exactly what it wants to be, doubles (and triples) down on it, and simply lets you have fun.
Obakeidoro 2: Chase and Seek is wonderful both online and offline, although it is definitely designed with local multiplayer in mind. It is a pleasant short burst of joy that's easy to pick up and play without asking if everyone can play or if there is enough time. The charming atmosphere and attention to detail also capture a lot of the magic of playing with friends in the schoolyard!
In the heat of the moment, The Prisoner is every bit as excellent as REANIMAL's core game. The fun ends when a bug pops up and crashes the game, leaving players frustrated and hungry when it's over so soon. A little more to do would have been appreciated. REANIMAL's foundation is very strong when it works, and the developer has an eye for visuals and storytelling. They just need to do more of it and let players stew in the world they created.
The original Wild Arms is still pretty good. Any JRPG maniac with a tolerance for a little bit of crustiness will still find it a compelling adventure. The combat is a bit basic and easy, but the puzzles and dungeons are where the game pushes players' intellect. Naruke's music is a highlight and elevates Wild Arms' emotional core, searing itself into any player's memory. Of the many huge hit JRPGs on PlayStation, Wild Arms is above average, but also one of the lesser entries in the franchise.
UFO -A Day in the Life- isn't really about extraterrestrials and more about seeing the everyday world and the unnoticed mundanities within it with fresh, patient eyes. It may not be the most engrossing adventure game, nor is it all that witty or have compelling gameplay. What it does well is capturing bite-sized human stories that range from depressing to amusing to... whatever a bald guy who likes to dress up and act like a baby is supposed to evoke. There's no putting a price on that.
The Sinking City 2 doesn't quite reach the level of polish in some of the lesser recent RE Engine Resident Evil entries, nor does it have what it takes to contend with the recent Silent Hill revival or even newcomers like Cronos: The New Dawn. It's a bit too derivative at its worst, and the looming shadow of its rotten predecessor still grips its design philosophy. It's a dramatic improvement for the most part, if a bit generic. There's a solid foundation here to be sure, even if it's still waterlogged. Horror fans will likely enjoy their time in Arkham due to the ambience and monsters, but it still needs more of an X-factor to go toe-to-toe with the major leagues.
Yes, Super Mario Bros 2. is not really the sequel to Super Mario Bros. They are two completely different experiences altogether. Is that a problem? When a game is so darn good, the answer is simply: No! Those of you who know, know. The rest, old or young, do yourself a favour and find a way to play it.
With a wealth of customisation options, intriguing side content, and a fantastic soundtrack, Lightning Returns is a unique approach to many of the RPG mechanics that were starting to feel stale or already were. The main quests may be overshadowed by the extensive side content, but the result is still an involved and rewarding RPG, and the best of the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy.
Besides a bad first impression with the tutorial and unbalanced single player, Last Pirates: Die Together quickly proves itself to be an addictive co-op experience. It goes against first impressions and creates a horror game that manages to deliver some of the best jump scares in the genre - not despite, but because of its cartoonish demeanour and comedic protagonists. The focus Last Pirates: Die Together puts on teamwork further makes it a recurring game with Discord friends once the witching hour starts!
The story mode is a phenomenal tutorial, while the online play offers a most beautiful TCG and digital board game experience thanks to Culdcept Begins taking the best of both Monopoly and Magic: The Gathering. However, it stumbles at the finish line of becoming a strong competitor to Mario Party as the quintessential digital board game night title. For households with four Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 systems this is a must-buy. Otherwise, one really has to consider if playing board games with strangers online and the tutorial-esque story mode are appealing in themselves.
In these dark times of game ownership and obsolete disk drives, Duskfade burns brightly as a shining beacon of why we all fell in love with games in the first place. A fantastically fun experience with real heart. Challenging at times, grin inducing most others, here’s hoping this is the first of many. It’s been far too long since titles have been made with this much love and care outside of the big red gaming behemoth and the small moustached plumber.
Lies of P comes closest to capturing FromSoft's signature style, and in some ways, it pushes the genre forward with its innovative weapon-building system and expanded customisation options. The reimagining of a familiar folktale is novel, and the sheer density of content on offer is more than generous. Sometimes it feels like the designers are creating a game that could be their final masterpiece, pouring everything they have into it. Nothing is held back, and every step of the way it surprises with something new.
If there is one thing Be Missed and Remembered: The Letter from Mayoiga gets really well, it is the ageless nature of a problem many claim is a modern thing. By mixing in themes of old theology with the modern concept of unemployment and the hikikomori phenomenon, it unmasks it as a problem for all of humanity to solve, and not just those affected. It gives empathy and hope to outsiders, and hopefully, will encourage others to dare to take their hands despite what society tells them. However, at times it could have trusted its depiction of humanity to keep the reader turning pages. The story here is too good for cheap tricks like cliffhangers.
Is Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass worth splashing out for? Players craving more Pokopia areas to build and friends to meet will feel right at home with the first part. There is a surprising amount of depth, literally, with content that feels fresh - yet familiar. With just how much care has gone into Part 1 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, it's exciting to see what is in store to round out the post-apocalyptic Pokémon experience. If you enjoy the base Pokopia experience, the DLC is an absolute no-brainer.
Dream Echo serves as a strong core to build upon. While it currently has too little variation because of the specialised builds it asks players to make, there is enough here to create most classic ARPG builds desired, such as defensive melee builds, ranged chaos, and summons. The roguelike elements also enhance the ARPG wonderfully thanks to the amount of control given and the fact that they prevent runs from feeling repetitive.
Soundpeats’ Pop Clip2 continues the brand’s push into open‑ear, clip‑on audio – a category built for people who want lightweight listening without sealing off the ear canal.
As with the previous games, the Switch 2 upgrade makes this the ultimate version of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Previously an eyesore when played portably, the higher resolution and framerates massively enhance a game that badly needed the improvements. The additional Merc Assault mode helps to speed up certain missions, while the other additions are merely nice-to-haves. There is the lingering thought that there could have been other helpful boosters to speed up gameplay, however. This grand RPG may suffer in parts, with the expansion papering over a few cracks, but one thing is certain: this is the best version of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 to play.
Despite some minor issues, Hollow Knight: Silksong is a brilliant game, but it won’t hesitate to punish poor preparation or lazy mistakes severely. The wait was long, but it was worth it to have such a polished final product.
There may not be enough here to get people to jump into the origins of the Tekken franchise, but it has to be said that there is still something satisfying about a fighting game that is devoid of flashy effects, super meters and ridiculous combos that require intense thumb movements and memorisation to pull off. Just know that the content most will be used to seeing in the PS1 version isn’t present here.
A suitably epic next step for the Digimon games, Digimon Story: Time Stranger is an amazing JRPG that suffers only from some lack of flare. More animated battles would be good; however, the exploration and story are entertaining enough to make that a tiny gripe rather than a huge issue. Definitely a must-have for fans of Digimon or even just fans of monster collecting JRPGs.
Runt is a real roller coaster in terms of quality. At first it seems like the storytelling will be poorly written, preachy, and indulging itself in violence. However, after the first twenty minutes, those fears disappear and reveal a very engaging story with characters who are impossible to ignore. On the other hand, the minigames are at times painful, and the lack of very basic QoL features for the genre, such as an auto feature for the text, makes replaying painful. This is damning for a game that seems to expect the player to replay it multiple times and pursue the mystery.
Panic Panda’s creation delivers a charmingly weird simulation that values atmosphere and personality over depth. Its satisfying cooking mechanics, memorable PS1-inspired aesthetic and horrifyingly ridiculous premise make it a worthwhile curiosity for those looking for something different. That said, those expecting genuine horror, meaningful exploration or deeper mechanical experimentation may leave disappointed, making Meat Grinder a neat novelty that, while recommended, ultimately falls short of its deliciously twisted potential.
Whichever version of MDK is played, expect to have a wildly good time. It's a surreal audio/visual tour de force, and the action still holds up. Shiny’s flair for console action platformer shooters like Earthworm Jim carried over seamlessly into 3D run-and-gun platforming, delivering sweat-dripping, edge-of-your-seat, sniping-on-the-fly thrills. There may never be a proverbial MDK3, but maybe it's for the best since this could only have happened during the 3D craze, when mad artists and bold programmers could ever dream of such a thing.
Uppercut Games’ first foray into the post-apocalypse exhibits two rare qualities: a vibrant world and strict adherence to non-combative exploration. What that – unfortunately – translates to is pretty vistas lacking substance and intrigue. Rather ironic for a title named Submerged to have the depth of a wading pool.
Denshattack! is an effortlessly quirky, blisteringly fast adventure that fully embraces its arcade influences. Colourful, quirky, high on energy from start to finish, prioritising fun over frustration. It can take a little while to get used to the setup, but once locked in, Denshattack! is difficult to put down.
MagSafe power banks have become a common travel companion, but most still add more bulk than they should.
Wireless gaming headsets have become increasingly refined, with manufacturers pushing for better spatial audio, cleaner microphones and more reliable low latency connections.
Smartwatches have become an everyday accessory, blending fitness tracking, notifications and personal style into a single wearable. TOZO’s S8 Aura aims to deliver that balance at an accessible price, offering an AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, IP68 waterproofing and a metal frame that leans more toward fashion than typical fitness bands. It is designed to feel premium without the premium cost, and it arrives with enough features to compete confidently in the crowded mid‑range market.
Avoalre’s Arc‑Chill range is built for gamers who run warm, offering a cool‑touch blanket and pillowcases that feel refreshing the moment you lie down.
TOZO’s PE1 is a compact sports speaker built for movement, offering quick pairing, rugged waterproofing and a surprisingly full sound from a frame small enough to clip onto a bag.
Gaming chairs often promise comfort and support but can feel more style than substance. Trust’s GXT 701 Ryon aims to offer a straightforward, affordable option without the heavy bulk or elaborate features found in premium models. It is a simple chair built around padded comfort and a familiar racing‑style frame, and it has held up well since arriving back in 2022.
What makes Shtrek worth talking about isn't just the design restraint, though there's plenty of that to admire.
Teacher from Kumane," a short documentary written, directed, and edited by Marina Veselinović, does the opposite.
When the Super Nintendo arrived, developers were eager to show what Nintendo’s new machine could do. Better graphics, richer sound and more ambitious ideas were all part of the 16-bit promise, and some launch-era releases could be described as extra daring, such as Quintet’s ActRaiser.
The Disgaea series debuted on the PlayStation 2 and quickly became a standout in the strategy RPG genre, winning over players with its over-the-top, self-aware humour set in the Netherworld, a bizarre realm inhabited by demons, angels, and quirky personalities.
Come scorching sunshine or classic British rain, absolutely nothing can stop the festival massive from trekking down to Sheffield’s iconic Hillsborough Park. Marking its 17th edition, Tramlines 2026 proved once again why it consistently draws in over 40,000 music lovers year after year.
Janessa delivered a slick, groove-led afternoon showcase at Spanish Caravan as part of Sound City 2026, turning a compact festival set into a commanding demonstration of modern R&B vocal agility.
Tokyo Tengu emerged from a desire to create clothing that carries story and symbolism without slipping into disposable merch.
The magical girl theme is painfully underused in JRPGs, which is a massive shame, as it holds so much potential. The mix of monster fighting and an emotionally charged journey of self-discovery fits the genre like a glove.
Reviewer’s Note: Given that it’s impossible to avoid SPOILERS for this short story-based game, read on at your own risk.
Horns is a dark fantasy action RPG announced on Steam for Q4 2026. promising a combination of the atmosphere of classic late-'90s and early-2000s RPGs with a modern, souls-like inspired combat system. Behind the project is Radoš Nikolić and his Jiggsaw Studio — a solo developer from Aleksinac who has spent recent years living and working in Kraljevo and Belgrade. We talked to him about the game's development, inspirations, technical challenges, and launch plans.

The isekai genre has become one of the most tired and overused themes in the East Asian culture industry over the last ten years, largely because it has become little more than a poorly disguised power fantasy. It is a shame because the genre has a lot of promise, as early games and anime in the genre, such as the legendary .hack franchise, showed. Where will Isekai Villain land? Will it be the next .hack//Infection or the next Conception? Read on as PixelReel skillfully dodges Truck-kun and falls into Sewer-san to begin this isekai journey!
