Cleaning tech is one of those chores that’s easy to ignore until a keyboard starts sticking or a camera lens picks up a haze of dust. OXO’s Electronics Cleaning Brush – part of the Good Grips range, which features many excellent home office tools – aims to solve that with a simple 2‑in‑1 design built for the small gaps, ports, and edges that gather dirt over time. It’s a compact, inexpensive tool that promises to keep everyday devices in better shape with minimal effort.

Design and Practical Use

The brush is built around a slim, lightweight body that’s easy to keep in a laptop bag or desk drawer. One end houses a retractable set of soft bristles that sweep dust from keyboards, vents, camera lenses and other delicate surfaces without scratching. The bristles are fine enough to reach under keycaps and around buttons, and the retractable mechanism keeps them protected when not in use.

The opposite end features a narrow silicone wiper designed for tight spaces: the corners of screens, the edges of phone cases, the seams around laptops and the recesses of earbud charging cases. It’s firm enough to lift compacted dirt but flexible enough not to damage surfaces, and the included cap keeps it clean when stored.

Everyday Performance

For quick maintenance, the brush works well. The bristles clear loose dust efficiently, and the silicone tip handles the stubborn bits that cloths and air dusters tend to miss. It’s particularly useful for keyboards, handheld consoles, camera gear and anything with small crevices. The compact size makes it easy to carry, and the simple construction means it should last with regular use.

It’s not a deep‑cleaning tool and won’t replace compressed air for heavy debris, but for routine upkeep it’s a handy addition to a tech pouch. The build quality is solid, and the soft‑touch grip makes it comfortable to use for longer sessions.

It’s inexpensive, practical and genuinely useful for anyone who works with laptops, cameras or handheld devices. A simple, effective accessory that earns its place in a kit bag.
